Ezell Aviation was started in 1986 by Nelson Ezell. The Business has expanded from 6 employees to 28 over the years, completing over 34 restorations. We have performed inspections, maintenance, major and minor repairs, on over 100 different vintage war era aircraft. His son Chad Ezell, and daughter Anna "Ezell" Shortes, have grown up working in the company, and are leading operations today.
We provide under 41,000 sq feet, annual and condition inspections, complete restorations, minor, and major repairs, sheetmetal fabrication, tig welding, CNC, CAD/CAM machining, Laser scanning, reverse engineering, electrical, and avionics installations, V12, and radial engine maintenance, fabric recovering, paint refinishing, and whatever else we need to do to make it right.
